BHT Partners has a long and proud history of servicing the local Eltham business community. In fact, the firm has offered accounting, tax and advisory services since it was established in 1956.
In the mid 1960’s, Bruce Holland took over the practice and several years later, Brian Taylor joined Bruce as a partner. Bill Pretty then joined the partnership on 1 July 1980 and these 3 partners managed the firm for several decades.
In 1983 the firm was incorporated and the business continued to operate on the underlying principle that we should play a close and active role in the development and implementation of our clients’ business strategies. For decades, we have done more than just keep the score for our clients and our focus is to help business owners build a better, more profitable and valuable business.
Bill Pretty retired on June 30, 2002 and when Bruce Holland retired in 2007, Jim Tyrrell and Melinda McAllister were admitted as partners. Bruce stayed on in a consulting role for several years and with the retirement of Brian Taylor in 2013, Damian Sanelli was admitted as a partner.
